Hi, i was wondering if anyone can tell me how to put a
FavIcon in our site.

Yes, you just have to make it extremely small, usually 16 x 16 pixels. Just create a file called favicon.ico of the above pixel size and put it in your web root directory.

You can make a favicon.ico at http://tools.dynamicdrive.com/favicon/
 
You might also have to put some html code if it's not already in

Please ignore the previous post.
After I cleared the cache the favicon then appeared in the URL without entering any code.

I have my favicon.ico in root but it only shows up for firefox. Don't know why IE won't display it. Any idea?

If you just recently loaded it, sometimes it takes longer for IE to pick it up. I had that issue as well, where firefox picked it up and IE didn't... then all of a sudden one day it started to, so yeah... just be patient
