Does the ViArt CMS support localized web pages creations according to language (e.q. in english you will publish one article and in russia another article)?

Hello John,

What you need to do is to write your page descriptions in different languages and put a corresponding language code in front of and behind each of them. For example:

[en] Womans Wool Scarf [/en]

[nl] dames wollen sjaal [/nl]

When a user selects a language, the appropriate description will appear.

Thanks,

For custom pages you have to put the text in different languages into 'Page Body' field. E.g.:

[en] Womans Wool Scarf [/en]
[nl] dames wollen sjaal [/nl

I tried creating two different language files and calling them as in the example you give for the scarf ie [en]file_en.html[/en][fr]file_fr.html[/fr] in CMS>Custom Pages>Edit Page "Get body from file" but it doesnt work, (the tiltle string does).
Ive also tried one file with the language delimiters breaking up the content but these are displayed along with the different language blocks.

If you put the language delimiters in the Edit Page "Page body" rather than call an external file again they are not recognised.

So it looks like a parsing problem unless I need a second hint Smile

Ive tried encasing different file paths in the language delininators but this doesnt seem to work, nor does trying them within the file itself.

I have now done this. Please see "CMS custom pages TinyMCE suggestion"

Hi John,

Articles' path in ViArt CMS can't be separated by language.

If you are interested in implementing such functionality please contact us via Support Form at http://www.viart.com/support so we can discuss it in details.
