I have a client who wants an online showcase for their products, which can be updated dynamically - pretty much like ViArt - however they aren't interested in actually selling online and putting the products into a shopping basket.
They do, however, want the ability for the customer to be able to reserve or order the product by sending their details (address, name etc) from a form on the page containing the product so the product can be reserved and they can then be contacted for payment details. I've noticed it's possible to turn off the shopping cart/add to basket etc. in ViArt but would this option of sending a form from the product information page be possible through ViArt?

You might consider making the following changes on the shopping cart:
1. Change the wording "Our Price:" to "Product Inquire:"
2. Set the amount to 0 - zero
3. Set the confirmation page to display your method of business how the order will be processed. That will be displayed instead of being pushed to payment operation.
By making these minor changes Viart cart will not process the order for payment in-turn customer is notified of the action that will follow-up by customer service.
Then reinforce order received to customer in the pending e-mail sent to customer.
