Hello everyone, i am new to using viart and had a few questions about importing/exporting categories. The cart i am working on is for an auto parts/performance shop and there are some sub categories that i want to fill in for each model vehicle. Such as brakes, engine performance, drivetrain, interior, etc. I would like to put these categories/subcategories that i have created for one make/model vehicle to other vehicles. I see there is an import export feature, which i tried to do but it seems like it is trying to import everything. is there a way to just export the subcategories and then import them to a different make model (category)?

Hi Audios,
If you look at the "Products & Categories" window The export on the left pane deals with the Categories and produces a file "va_categories.csv" and that on the right the products "va_items.csv".
 
If you create a "tree" for your first model ie
Ford>brakes
>engine
>interior
and export the categories you can then load this csv file into a spreadsheet and cut and paste to get "trees" for other models. Note the way subcategories have parents.
You can do the same for the products.
