There should be a "Browse" button in the test editor that allows you to find an uploaded image to insert into the body of the acticle.
 
Currently, it only has a text block to manually type a path. What if I don't know the path?
Would it be the URL full path or a relative path?
 
One does not know and it is not specific.

Image insertion feature in WYSIWYG editor was implemeted in the last release 2.8 of ViArt Shop.

am using the free version 3.3.1 and the image path is incorrect using the wysiwyg editor..it uploads the images correctly but when i save the page it changes the URL to have two leading dots in the path instead of one
 
eg: ../images/articles/editor/verisign.gif
 
when it should be
 
./images/articles/editor/verisign.gif
 
the site path settings are pointing to the shop correctly
eg: http://www.mydomain.com/shop/
 
this seems like a bug in the editor in version 3.3.1
