We would like to be able to use a single Default Option for all downloadable products in a particular product type, but have it be dynamic from the perspective of the file path/name to the specific product.
 
We could easily achieve this within the existing Viart Default Options structure if we could place a token into the download path. For example, by putting the following into the download path: "./downloads/{manufacturer_code}.wmv" (all of our file names are the same as the manufacturer code, with the file extension appended to the end)
 
So, rather than having to manually add a special Option to every single product for hundreds of products, we could automatically use the same Default Option for all of them, with no fuss or muss.
 
However, Viart 3.3.2 does not seem to recognize the use of a token such as {manufacturer_code} on the Default Options page. Does anyone know a workaround, or some way to make this work? In which php page(s) would we need to modify or add to the code to make this work? Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks.

Have you figured this out or heard from anyone on this?? I see your post has been here a while - I am trying to do the same thing.
