I feel abit daft as i must have figured this out but have now managed to completely forget... I have 3 sites ( multi sites) and as you can see here the icons are showing in the products latest block

But when i try to do the same with my other site the icons don't show -only the description as seen here

I have looked all over ( i think) and just can't figure out how i did it..If anyone knows what i have forgotton to select etc please let me know! thanks Paul

Double check to see if you actual added the images in the proper spot.
 
By-the-way what age group are you targeting? As a suggestion in the field of religion to use lighter colors.

I will check out the image locations. Possibly i did this additional work after copying the files to create the other 2 sites. On the colour thing, with the icons of all the sets so luminous i prefer a darker background a bit like stars in the sky. Having said that i would prefer the grey/black background to be a dark green but never figured out how to change the template colour. If you can suggest how i could do this that would be great!

PS Regarding age group - I would say most of my customers are an average age of 55. I am introducing new music soon that will mean the site will have a broader target. Also the talks are for younger folks as well and indeed some are given by young people. The area of spirituality is wide and so it really means a continuos growth and change

The problem with your images is that they're not displaying the entire link for them, therefore when you view them from a multi-site, the other site cannot find them.
 
In global settings, you should click on 'Use full url for images' and then when you begin loading images, you will see they will display for all sites.
 
For the products you already have on their, you will need to modify the URL to show the domain name rather than the ..
