I am now use free version of viart. I'm deciding to buy a light version. How to convert from free to light without losing the data inside?

Really easy, every Viart version is the same but as soon as you buy a version you will receive a custom PHP file which you need to place in the /includes/ folder.
 
After that Viart will show only the features you paid for and will remove the Viart link at the bottom of all pages.
 
The license is tied to your domain name.
 
So, with this method you will not loose any data as you will just continue to use your current installation.
