I removed a product and it still shows up on the special offer page. I can't find out were to remove it. TIA

Have you unticked the box in the edit item, then click the special offer tab?

I deleted the item so it isn't there anymore but it still shows up in the special offer on the front page

I did refresh and clear my browser. It looks like when I removed the items it had a copy in the special offer section that didn't delete. For now I removed that from my home page :(
 
I am using the light version and it is hosted by viart. They don't seem to have much customer support :(

I am surprised about you problems with customer support

I am doing that now. I have sent an email to support but no reply.

You must have deleted the default categories but the default products left.
The product 'Exploring Southern California Beaches was added to be shown in the special offer block. I have unticked the option 'Add this Product to Special Offers section' on the Edit product Page and now no products are shown in this block. If you want to display the special offers block again on the home page, I recommend you to add any of your product(s) to the special offer.

Okay almost fixed. My description comes up but the old pic from the default is still there. I cleared my cache, still there.
