I seem to remember that somebody else posted about this problem a few weeks ago but I cannot find the post.
 
I uploaded a whole load of patches recently and have noticed since that if I add products with options that the options part is not carried through to the basket.
 
Can anybody help me find the original post or offer any guidance on why they think this is happening. I am using multi site uploaded changes to both sites but strangely it only affects one of sites and not the other despite the fact I made the same changes to both.

However these posts are not exactly specific to the problem I am experiencing.
 
The problem is I have a product with options I add the product and option to the basket the item and option shows ok....I go to checkout the option part has gone and only the parent item is the in the checkout "basket".
 
Whats stranger is this only happens on one site but not the other and both are on the same domain but in sub directories
 
e.g
 
www.mysite.com/site1 works
www.mysite.com/site2 doesn't work
 
There was a post specific to this I am sure a few weeks ago.

This has worked. For some reason despite me uploading this patch to both sites. for the problem site it had stored as block_order_info_retry.php and so not overwritten the problem file.
 
I therefore presume that for some reason there was a problem trying to overwrite the file.
 
Thanks a million Chris we are back up and running, I wil cancel my ticket with Viart.
