I'm trying to decide whether I can use ViArt for a client and have two questions. The answers will help me decide.
 
1. Orders can be shipped to the US or Canada. For each order shipped to the US there's a $2 handling fee plus a cost per item. For each order shipped to Canada there's a $9 handling fee plus a different cost per item. Is this something that's configurable in ViArt or would I have to create my own shipping module, and shipping rates?
 
If I would have to create it, is there any documentation on doing this?
 
2. Is it possible to send the customer to checkout directly from the "add to cart" button? If not, do you think that ViArt can be customized for that feature by someone who's PHP knowledgeable. Or is this one of the 3% that cannot be touched?

1: It might help to look at:
 
Administration > Shipping Modules > Shipping Types > Edit Shipping Type
where you can apply figures to
Shipping Cost : [ ]Per Order [ ]For each Product [ ]Per Weight (kg)
 
2: Administration > Products > Products Settings
Go to: After Adding Product
CHOICES ARE:
Remain on the same page
Go to the basket page
Go to the checkout page
