I use Google webmaster tools.
 
It is telling me I have loads of duplicate meta titles even though I dont
 
For 1 product the google bots see 3 duplicate meta tags.
 
This is because it looks at the product in the 2 categories it is in and also the product description page.
 
I think this may affect google rankings is there any way round this that anybody knows of?
 
Also is there anyway of adding a prefix to meta titles and descriptions for all pages when using multi site. e.g via global settings or something
 
e.g the prefix "site1" and "site2" so they appear different to the bots for each site within the same domian.
 
We have a retail and trade site but no way of differentiating the meta titles for each site
