I have added Google analytics code and all is working well.
The only thing bugging me is that if a user cancels a transaction on the credit card payment page or the card is declined . Google sees the transaction as a completed order and therefore the ROI figures and percentages are not correct.
Take today I had a client submit their card details 6 times and 6 orders showed up in google analytics despite only one "real" order being placed,
Has anyone else experinced this. Is there a smart way roung this.
Regards
Dave

Hello Freezer!
Can You show Us, how You can pass the total order value to the analytics?
This analytics feature could be very helpful for everyone, but I think is a little hard to implement to the shop... Is it?

I made the mistake of upgrading to the version 3.5.13 which is only a beta version.
I have a few small issues but one of the plus points is full ecommerce tracking.
I am not sure if it was available in past versions as I only starting using analytics a few weeks ago. I also have an adwords account and have linked the 2 together.
The google system reports right down to order Id, products in each order, qty ordered etc. Its very good other than it sees orders which have failed as completeed orders which throws the ROI figures into problems. At the moment I am keeping a note of the failed order values and subtrcting them from the final figures used for analysis. So a bit of manual labaour I could without to be honest.
I think you are best (if you don't mind waiting) asking Viart if there have been any improvements in the version I am using compared to your version.
There are also 2 types of code for google (the old urchin one) and the new one. Viart 3.5.13 uses the newest code version for sure as when I checked the source code for pages in my shop it was the newest code which had been added. This code allows the most recent features from Google.
I am no expert though, that is the best I can offer on this!
