Does anyone have any idea on how to implement gift wrapping - a check box with a price and then a text box for a gift message?

The only way I can think of doing this is to offer it as an option (or accessory) product by product? Unless someone else knows better?
But the only way the text box could be added, as far as I can see, is to use a custom field in checkout - not so elegant but would work until Viart can add this - suggest you post in the Wish List.

The easiest and best way I implemented this was to to put add a custom field in the "Order Profile Page" put it under the checkout section with check boxes, if looks good, fits well and is right where you want the customer to be prompted or tempted?
 
Yon can apply all of the formatting to get it to look as you want?

I know it's been more than a year, but that's exactly what I was looking for, so thanks!!
