compliments to the ViaShop, it looks really great und good value for money. One question I could now answer browser the demoshop and your website.
How is the shop extensible? Is there a kind of API that can be used?
I know the shop is written in PHP and there I expect to be able to change almost anything I like (with loosing the upgrade option). In detail I am thinking e.g. about a specific statistics site showing sold products per user/category/fiscal period/.... or so on. All needed data should in in the DB and therefor be accessible.
And is it allowed according to the used license to sell this extention to possible customers?
Thanks for help!

Another thing I cannot find so far ist the option of user groups. Saying we have a distributor and we sell to end users or to other distributors. The shop seems not to be able to handle different prices for this. Right?
If so, could this easily be extented may be by our self?
THX!

We have a custom page/block system whereby you may add pages/blocks in text or html/javascript format.
The code is 98% open source, the other 2% is encoded and not available for purchase.
You say
"I am thinking e.g. about a specific statistics site showing sold products per user/category/fiscal period/.... or so on. All needed data should in in the DB and therefor be accessible."
ViArt currently allows all of the above within the Sales Orders section.
We do have a reseller scheme whereby you may purchase multiple copies of viart licences and sell them, each shop must have a licence.
"User groups" is within "Define Privilege Group Settings" and it is infact possible to set different 'discounts' for different types of user i.e 'distributors'.

Thanks for the reply. I answer mostly my question.
The user-group thing is nice, but not 100% what I have been looking for. But might be good enough for our customer - will check.
What I was looking for was indeed that the shop admin can specify two set's of prices per product. SWo no fixed discount, but a per product definition. Anyway, thanks!

From our latest version 2.5.4 you can set different prices for different types of user, e.g.:
T-Shirt (Main Group) - $50
T-Shirt (Special Group) - $45
T-Shirt (Resellers Group) - $40
