Its great to see the new CMS Settings page in viart 3.4.1 that allows you to customize the blocks for all main pages within the system.
I always make custom templates for my clients using viart. I can naturally copy the new template folder from one server to another - something I always do at least once during development as i copy it from my local setup to the final live server.
However, my templates always also require very specific settings to be applied to most of the pages with the "CMS/CMS Settings" area of the CMS system.
I guess I can copy the table data from certain tables between systems in order to replicate these settings. It would however be nice, for user friendliness for there to be an EXPORT option that saves these settings into a special file (it could just be a load of sql population commands!) so that a client or another user could then do this without the need to mess around with table copying.
This file could even be automatically detected if left in the templates folder and done as part of the process of setting up a new layout within the system.
Such a feature would be incredibly useful for me. Anyone else have the same issues?

Agree. This feature is needed. Many of us create custom templates for our clients.

I think here can be some workaround with moving CMS settings from one site to another.
For example you can use DB Management section and create a new dump for only one table va_page_settings and then apply this dump on new server.
