ISSUE: The options price calculations for products that use a percentage of the base price to calculate the option price does not calculate against the option, but ONLY on the base price.
How tested:
Created a product, (Software type) that is sold by the seat. A single user seat is $200.00.
Created an option to add additional seats: (add Full Seats)
2 seats + 200.00 = Total 400.00
3 seats + 350.00 = Total 550.00
4 seats + 500.00 = Total 700.00, etc.....(this goes up to 25, 50, 100, etc)
Created another option to add other seats: (add LTD Seats)
2 seats + 100.00 = Total 300.00
3 seats + 150.00 = Total 350.00
4 seats + 200.00 = Total 400.00, etc.....(this goes up to 25, 50, 100, etc)
Created an option for Annual Maintenance: (Annual)
Set it to 20% of Product Price and it shows as $40.00, no problem.
Created another option for Additional Annual (Add Full Annual)
Made "Parent Option" to be (Add Full Seats) and set Price it to be 20%, but did not select any Parent option value because I want it applied to whatever the value the buyer selects in "Add Full Seats".
Shows up as $40.00, and only adds $40.00 to the price in cart regardless of any selection of options.
I expected it to function the similar as the option for (Annual) option and apply the percentage to whatever is selected, by the buyer, for additional seats.
If select only 1 of the "Parent Option" values, then it only applies to that selected value and nothing else. It does work with the percentage that way, but that would require a separate option for each and every possible configuration of seat combinations.
Any suggestions on how to get the percentage applied to the entire option without creating each and every option separately and have the price correct for the full selection of the buyer
