...there are some files which are encoded in ViArt shop. Why did you encode it. Couldn't it be a problem, if a programmer wants to change e.g. common functions? Imagine I have changed the code of the shopping system in terms of the needs of my customer and the shop is online. A few month later your company doesn't exist any longer (don't hope so) and there is an error in this encoded module. In this case I never have the chance to fix this error.
Why don't you use 100% open source ?

Hi robby,
Viart Shop represents the culmination of thousands of man hours of work and we encode certain parts of it to protect this work which represents substantial investment on our part. By charging a fee for our work and protecting our intelectual property we are able to reinvest in the product to the advantage of all our users.
If open source is critical to you then there are several commendable systems available that you could use. If you wish to make use of the high level features available in Viart then you must take the risks associated with using encoded software.
I hope this explains the situation.
