To order at wholesale rates there is a minimum order. too order at retails rates there is no minimum
In order to control which price displays to shop on both sites a customer would need 2 accounts
However as the email field does not allow duplicate entries my clients who only have 1 email addresscannot set up the second account.
Has anybody out there found a workaround to this problem.
Dave
P.s I realise why this might bu in place bit for me personnally it causes problems. At the moment I have a static message reading this email address is being used for "retail" account please use a differend address for your wholesale account.

Why don't you just allow the user access to both sites, and just modify the price for each site?

Cheers Dan,
How do you modify the price for each site? if using the same database for 2000 products?

are all prices set individually or by types of product?

All prices are set indivually for both normal price and trade price as they all vary.
As the price is determined by user type I do not see how I can show different prices per site. Other than to manually add the prices via the "prices" tag which allows us to show the price only on certain sites or for certain users and for different qtys. This would take forever.
For now I think the only option is ask my clients to use a alternative email address and mantiomn this in the static message which shows if entering a duplicate email.
I wish we could choose which price set was displayed based not only by user type but also which site. That would do the trick !
