I'm trying to configure a nice email receipt that goes to the c ustomer once they've placed an order.
There are no bracketed fields that allow me to insert {products ordered} into the email.
Why does viArt cart allow me to enter order total, quanitty, but not specifically what product was ordered?
Live cart can be viewed at www.servantrosaries.com
Thanks in advance.

Why not just add an invoice to the e-mail?
see:
Administration > Payment Systems > PayPal Account [or other] > Final Checkout Settings
User Email Notification
Attachments [ ]PDF Invoice

I would like to be able to send email with cart information upon setting a status in my orders management. For example, if I set status of 'BRS Installation', then I want my partner at BRS to get the details of what they need to install for the customer.
Possible?

The problem in this day and age with spamming rules is that many times attachments are spammed out and end up in junk mail. You are more likely to get your message to go through safely if you only send a plain text message.
I agree that the formatting of the current email default is not customer friendly. It is difficult to read. I can't seem to find a list of variables to use other than the {basket}.
