I've got 4.0.5 and I discovered that my editor has just...disappeared. Original listings are suddenly showing html when I go into the desc area. And when I go to add a new product the shop wants me to code it, whereas before of course I relied on the editor.
I've checked the WYSIWYG tick box in System - Global Settings and that's fine. I cannot find anywhere else that there is a reference to selecting the editor. I have also searched the manuals hunting for references, and the only thing I did notice was that I don't have a button which is referred to there in screen shots.
Can anybody help me with this? It has me flummoxed.

Have you make any template or CSS changes?
Also check to make sure your DB has not corrupted the Global-Settings table. If you have a backup of your db prior to seeing this error, maybe do a comparison across the two.

How about sharing those patches. The rest of us need to know how to fix this editor thing. I'm trying to set up my holiday discounts via email campaigns, but all I see is code, and no WYSIWYG display. Going on 2 weeks now...

Yes, if they provided any patches it would be nice to get them.
Thats one of the downfalls of ViArt - patch and release management and something to 'briefly' say what has changed.
I have the base build 15April 2014 and we have discovered that we now need to patch ourselves to the 24Sept2014 build, but all I can do it file compares to see what has changed..... and I have made some radical changes to some of the blocks to get what we need.

Please let us know what patches you got. Every individual should not have to dig for weeks to get information on fixing things like this. We would all LIKE TO KNOW what patches you got.
