Whilst we are about marketing, why not get a focus on this whole area for Viart?
A few more:
1 - the 'print' & 'e-mail' links at the top of the product detailed page get overlooked.
My customers do not spend time trying to understand the site. Everything needs to be very clear and obvious.
2 - a place for customers to post their wish list - this one works, so what about one in the shop?
In my original store I have a link to a simple machines forum with a wish list page.
It has been very successful and we have captured many customers this way.
3 - Reviews - detail page.
Reviews enhance the shopping experience which we are told is the way forward. Being at the page bottom it gets missed.
After the word "reviews" the presentation needs more thought. And when reviews are added we need to be able to specify how many show by default.
Reviews should also be available to be shown, as an option, below the "highlights" list.
Also - when a customer has ordered an e-mail to customer asking to review the product with a link back - just like Amazon.
4 I have mentioned elsewhere about loyalty bonuses.
EG:
— Place an order every month for six months (get a habit going) and get "deal".
— When your total purchases exceed ?xxxx get a voucher for ?YY.
5 Introduce a friend and when friend orders with this voucher number you get "deal".
And I bet there is a mass of even better ideas around?
