Is anyone else experiencing duplicate content issues?
 
Before making my ViArt site live, I had no duplicate content issues with my old site. I went from my old site to my new ViArt layout about 2 weeks ago and suddenly have over 4000 duplicate content issues per Google.
 
I am devastated as it was my understanding that this was not an issue with ViArt and it took me over a year to get everything just how I wanted it for the launch of my overhauled site.
 
*sigh*

Seriously? No one else is having duplicate content issues? Interesting...
 
Between the duplicate content issues (now over 7000) that I have since making my ViArt shop live and the incredibly slow load speeds (again, only since switching to ViArt), I'm being slaughtered by Google.
 

Just thought I'd post an update to the duplicate content issue I have been having since launching my ViArt site.
 
Utilizing the URL Parameters tool in Google Webmaster Tools, to block many of the "links" from being crawled (including add to cart links), my duplicate content issues are down to under 400.
 
I still have some work to do, but wanted to give the good news that part of it is manageable via Webmaster Tools.
