i am using viart enterprise v 3.2.2 where i want to add a product for sale for our site for download , type of the file is an exe of size 12 mb when i tried out to upload in admin panel download product option provided by viart i am getting an error
 
This type of file is not allowed.
 
So i need help how can i handle this situation?

I wonder, would it be normal to allow .exe files to be uploaded considering the potential risk? Perhaps you will need to ftp the files to your server.

in the products setup section, you can specify what file types can be uploaded.

The easier way to upload big files is via ftp.
If you don't get a ftp software you can use windows explorer to upload your file.
 
1) Go to my computer
2) Enter the ftp address of your web on the address bar
(E.g. ftp.yourDomain.com)
3) Enter your ftp user Name and your password
4) Browse your web site folder (e.g. www folder)
5) Just copy and paste your local file to the folder on your web site.
 
From Viart admin product settings download section, you just have to indicate the http address of your file (E.g. http://www.yourDomain.com/Downloads/filename.exe)
