We're finding it a nuisance that the pulldown in the Search block automatically goes to "Current Category" when we're browsing a category. We'd like to have it default to "All Categories" regardless of what page it's on... or better yet, just make it a hidden field as the pulldown rarely gets used at all.

the Advanced Search seems to default to an all product search rather than the category you arrived via... so it shouldn't be too difficult to resolve
