I am a very new user evaluating the ViArt Shop Free version.
 
I changed the default currency from USD to GBP in the currency table but the £ symbol is not displayed before the prices on the product pages. In fact now I cannot get any currency symbols to show at all.
 
Can anyone help ? Thanks.

Answering my own question because I found the problem.
 
I needed to "allow users to choose this currency..." in the currency table and bring back the Languages block in Layout, which I removed, then select the GBP currency on a browser before removing the Languages block from Layout.
