I seem to be missing the £ from in front of all my prices, is there somewhere that I need to turn it on or edit it... I've edited my site a lot so I'm not sure if this is something I taken out by mistake or if it is a bug

Administration > Static Tables > Currencies > Edit

thanks for the help Chris but I found out what it was
 
hadnt selected the "user can choose this currency in which prices will be shown" tick box
 
all working now
