Is it possible to set up a coupon like this:
 
15% off a certain category of products if 2 or more products from that category are in the cart. They don't have to be the same products... any 2 products from that category.
 
I have a category with Gift certificates and I want to exclude them from the special. An order coupon takes the discount off Gift Certificates.... this shouldn't happen.
 
If i create a product coupon I cannot put the 2 product restriction in. It will allow the coupon if 2 of the same product are chosen, but not if 2 different products are chosen.
 
Can anyone help me around this?

What you're asking for can be done, but would require a script be written to account for various combination or restrictions to be calculated at the checkout stage.
