It so easy to miss some of the many functions of Viart so thought it would be interesting to share one with everyone just in case. I didn't create this personally I just noticed it when trying out the beta version on the site below

Basically the ability to charge per character. In this case for personalised embroidery.
 
This forum seems to be used in the main for problem fixes.
 
Idea: Why not have a new section for functions. If everybody posted useful things as and when they find them it would be a good resource to check out once a day or week. OK stuff may get duplicated and in most cases it maybe something you were aware of but what harm can it do!

I paid viart for this functionality and was double checking that functionality. I also paid for copying of sub components, product type enhancements, bom, etc....

viart.customer - I (and others) paid for the Introduce a Friend feature in the new release. It seems many users are doing this ... perhaps we need a forum giving credit for all users who have made a contribution? Just an acknowledgment - a bit like thank you? It may encourage users to share more?

I put one in that hopefully should pop up in the next release. Bundles with options/sub-component images instead of just text, and more pricing options.

That sounds great Five5, I wonder who else has recently funded something interesting - would be good to hear about them!

I had the 'Price Matrix' one I would still like to finish specifying and get in, hopefully this weekend I will finish the req. spec. and see if ViArt could manage to get it into the next release.
 
I probably missed the boat.

I made the ability to export only selected items rather than entire lists.

A few of us have paid for implementing the double Canadian Tax system, which should also work for other dual tax countries such as New Zealand.
 
I have also recommended changes to the shipping structure, where the shop keeper is allowed to set the number of boxes and including how much each box weighs plus the dimension of each box. This helps in getting a more accurate shipping cost from the courier company's. This should hopefully reduce the shipping cost per item and allow our online stores to sell more and increase the loyalty factor.
 
According to ViArt these should be available in the next release (in a month).

Does this software have the capability for me to show a text form and then run a small program based on the text resulting in the display of an image?
 
In other words I need to input text entered into a form on the webpage, act on that text and display graphical results. This is all before the purchase.
