I have a product that requires manual order entry and manual billing. Is there any way to disable the requirement for a payment system for the Call Center? If that is not possible, can a payment system be set up for "Advanced" that does not require an actual API connection?
This product requires a customer deposit, customer uploads, samples of the finished product sent via email for approval, payment of the balance, and delivery of a customized product via download. This is probably not "shopping cart" material, but there has to be a way to use the current Viart software for the task.
Here, you will be able to modify a payment system so that payment details are not necessary on call centre.

Thanks for the info. Looked everywhere on the site BUT the FAQ. Got it working but ran into one snag. When entering an order I received a PHP error from line 287 of admin_order_payment.php which reads, include_once($root_folder_path . $advanced_php_lib);
I commented out the line and all seems ok. I'm no expert, but I think this is only necessary for API processing.

This is great, it works when I thought it wouldn't without API's.
Only one downside, it refreshes after almost every entry, this can hold up the phone call and make it a bit embarrasing, imagine if the internet connection is a bit slow at the time and having to wait 15 seconds for every refresh.
