I am a php developer and have found employment working with a Viart site
I've got my head around most of the code, and have many ideas on how to take the company website to the next level
Many of these ideas revolve around the shopping basket, and giving the user more control over their basket at more places around the site
I'm having trouble figuring out how to make buttons that change the quantity of an item in the basket
The removal link that appears on the basket page for instance seems to involve a randomly generated number that changes whenever the cart does, but I can't figure out how to obtain this number for use in my own removal buttons
Furthermore, copying the code for the button that appears on the basket page and placing it anywhere else on the site, simply results in a button that directs the use to the homepage, and I can't figure out what it is about the basket page that makes this button work
The quantity boxes on the basket page also seem to reference javascript that doesn't exist
I am quite confused, and any help figuring this out would be much appreciated
