If a visitor enters my site from a direct link to a product (from Froogle for example) instead of going to the index.php first, the checkout doesn't seem to work properly with paypal - the custom payment system is fine, just paypal doesn't work - keeps saying order doesn't exist.
If the same visitor then goes to the index.php and places their order from new, it works just fine.
It seems that if the visitor has previously had things in their basket, then bookmarks a page and leaves the site, then later comes back using the bookmark, or uses a direct link to another product, viart remembers the basket contents and it messes up the paypal system.
Why would this happen? Is there a way to force a users basket to always be empty when they come to the site?
I don't want any basket information cached at all on anyones PC - can I turn it off?

Hi, only what i know is:
Administration > Global Settings > On Logout ----> Clearing the shopping cart
Maybe it helps.
