They have just released a beta version. It might take some time before they release stable version.

Will the manual be updated for version 3.3 or a change log be posted soon? Thanks for the new release!

Hi
If we use the Beta to overwrite an existing store, will it wipe out template and logo changes?
If it does, can you list the files we should exclude in the update?
Also, are there any new tables in the database?
Kind regards
Kim

OK sorry, mouth before brain again. I notice there is a DB2, is that an update to the 3.2 database instead of uploading the whole new one?
Kind regards

UPGRADING
Yes that would be very helpful. In the light of Karen's question above:
<< I notice there is a DB2, is that an update to the 3.2 database instead of uploading the whole new one? >>
- and the many customisations that I have, I want to be sure I am not missing anything.
Thank you
Chris

******* WARNING *******
Make sure you back up your .sql database in cPanel because when you run the install procedure and import the new .sql file it will erase all your data.
For me, the new .sql import for 3.3. added 10 new tables (I'm not sure which).
Once you've imported the new .sql which added the new tables (with import in myphpadmin), simply restore your database. In cPanel, this is easy.
It worked like a charm. I'd suggest ViCart adds a warning file which tells the user they may delete their data with the install. I didn't see any instructions on how to upgrade from 3.2 however I understand it's still in final beta however those anxious users (like me) should be warned.
I was saved by my backup. So backup your files! :)

I'm worried to loose my multilingual data in db, since that's what is happening when I try to export it...

Any idea when the version 3.3 is going to be released to the rest of us?
I need a zip file for my site and am unable to use a compressed file with a .tar extension.
