I have the light version hosted on viart.
 
Ok I am not a coder as previously mentioned. But I am game to learn. I like the cart and its admin .. fairly easy to get working. However I would like to see a bit more info on how i actually do get access to the coding. And how. For instance: I wanted to upload another free version to the server to play around with a bit.. rather than my live shop.. however i cant even get it to open .. i set it in its own folder .. even uploaded zend but cant get anything to open .. does it have to be in the root folder. simple guidance please.

In case you are using ViArt Hosting you can just copy all files contained in folder public_html to some it's subfolder, e.g. public_html/testing
After this test web site will be available using an URL like http://hosting.viart.com/~[account_id]/testing/
Please not that in such a case it will use the same database as the live site, so be careful in setting changing via Admin Panel.
 
Alternatively, you can register a trial account at ViArt Hosting and play with it for 30 days when it will be available.
Unfortunately at present this functionality is blocked due to system maintaince issues.
