We're looking at adding an affiliate module to the system. Simply where by adding an affiliate field to the registration page will anable affiliates to earn commission (in form of discounts) when people sign up with their code.
Is there any functionality like this on the cards or how would be go about adding such a feature?

I have been reviewing the demo for several days, and I am suddenly seeing Affiliates features being added. It would seem that they are working on this functionality.

Hi,
The Affiliate module was added into our 2.8 release.
In order to enable Affiliate registration you should go to 'Administration > Customers > Profile Settings / Types > Edit Type' and check the checkbox 'Can user join to affiliate program' on the form. You can as well specify Affiliate Commission in appropriate fileds.

I am new to the concept of 'Affiliate' programs, but it is a pretty cool idea. I would like someone to point me to a tutorial or more info on how to use it and what my customers will need to do to access and use it. So far, I have not stumbled across that info just yet...
