When creating a mobile version of your site you need to think about the domain you are going to use. There are possible two options:
- a new domain or a subdomain, for example 'm.site.com' or 'mobile-site.com'. It will require an extra activation for your ViArt Shop license
- a subdirectory on your main site, for example 'site.com/mobile'. This method doesn't require an additional license.
Mobile redirect should work regardless of the license (there will be just a free version) so please let us know how you set it up and if you need our team to check your settings please send a support ticket with your admin and FTP login.

Rick,
Did you get this issue resolved by Vera/ViArt?

Of course, it got resolved. There were two problems:
1) missing .htaccess file in mobile directory;
2) and $site_id was not specified in var_definition.php

I'm having the same issue at http://www.rotaryswing.com/golf-training-aids I set it up to go to golf-training-aids-mobile. This folder works but there is no automatic redirect from my normal site to the mobile after following the directions on the site. I have the var file set to "1" in each folder and followed the rest of the directions?
