I would request, as a small extension to other parts of the system that already feature notes (such as pages and blocks) the idea that categories can have notes.
Very often when I set up shops and configure them for clients of mine I use the notes in blocks to give details when they need to edit them, leave them alone etc. Its great these notes then show on the listing pages before you even go into the page/block.
It would be fantastic if the same principal applied to categories as I often create categories that require some explanation. This would make presenting the CMS to my clients much more user friendly, especially if there was a space listing my notes on screen as users browse the categories via the provided CMS.
