I would suggest we all go ahead, and any future payments be made to you directly via paypal. Once all is said and done, you can disperse money back to individuals that have already paid so that it evens it out, if that makes sense. You said wait a little, I just think we've all waited a long time as is. This was started quite some time ago.

Dan, yes - all payments are made - but as Viart cannot start until the new release is out [poss mid/late January] we have a few days anyway.
 
I don't want to delay it any further either as I am keen to get this feature asap.

There are three of us at this level and contributions from new users to the feature will mean a refund to us until we are down to the same contribution level as others; I will do the accounting in a few weeks and e-mail round to confirm the position.

Sounds very interesting but can somebody make clear to me how this will differ from the current set up.
 
My checkout information is already on one page except the payment details which are accesible by choosing a payment method as in the description below you would need to go off to any external payment system using this proposed new system.
 
I would be very interested in the extra benifits.
 
I notice Viart say we can add customs blocks to add information but they also state "or modify appropriate HTML templates to show additional comments" this can be done now also ??
 
So if somebody could explain what is so unique about the new system I may also contribute.

The programming is due to follow the release of 3.7 so, yes, we can take in additional contributors.
 
We have agreed that we will do this once Viart has a completed product and then share these extra contributions between existing members.

Oh, thats going to take a while as 3.7 has been delayed for around 3 months so far.

3.7 still has a couple of months left and viart will implement OPC after 3.7, so we are looking at a timeframe of around 6+ months or the end of the 2010.
 
I might chip in when the time comes.

i was right in my estimation, the OPC has still not been implemented even after 7 months (more than 1/2 an year)

For that much money I would expect more, for the effort in my own experience (of programming) it would take to add such a feature this is vastly overpriced.

That's fine snixx - I don't value a feature by the cost of programming but the value it adds to my business.
 
But, then, I am a mere marketing man and not a programmer; perhaps you undervalue your own skills
